VIDEO: Don Draper Pitches Facebook Timeline

VIDEO: Don Draper Pitches Facebook Timeline If "Mad Men" were real, and Don Draper were alive today, how would he pitch Facebook to you? It's a question that's on everyone's mind (okay, maybe just mine), and it has been answered with a re-edit of a particularly great scene from "Mad Men."

Those who have seen the show will surely remember Don's "nostalgia" pitch, in which he gets very personal in the board room to sell an idea to Kodak for their new slide wheel. He loads the projector with slides of his own family, and gives a heartfelt speech that has the room (and the viewing audience) in tears.

The re-edit features the same speech, but this time Don is demonstrating Facebook Timeline, the new redesign of the site that is set to go live soon. While Mark Zuckerberg gave his own speech to convince us that Facebook can be a beautiful, personal, powerfully nostalgic thing, I think I like the way Don puts it better.

Check out the video below. If you want to see the pictures from Don's original presentation, you can see them on AMC's website, along with a transcript of the pitch.
